MAJOR MARVEL SUPER HEROES - A BRIEF INTRODUCTION
1.IRON MAN
Tony Stark may be the ultimate example of human ingenuity. Gifted with great intellect and a daring spirit, Stark was a billionaire playboy who had it all, using his wealth garnered from producing innovative weaponry in pursuit of his own selfish whims. After being taken prisoner by enemy combatants in the Vietnam War (or the Gulf war, in later versions), Stark was forced to use his skills as an arms designer to build a weapon of mass destruction. Stark, however, used the given materials to build a suit of nearly invincible armor loaded with weapons and, more importantly, a device designed to keep him alive. Stark returned home and began using the armor, and his other inventions, in pursuit of more noble goals as the invincible Iron Man.
2.CAPTAIN AMERICA

Despite his small frame, Rogers had an indomitable spirit, desperately trying to fight for his country in World War II. After countless rejections due to his poor health, Rogers finally found a home in Project: Rebirth, and experimental program meant to turn his weak body into the perfect human, a soldier who operated a peak efficiency and possessed incredible strength. Left as the only survivor of the Project: Rogers became the country's most important soldier, the hero known as Captain America.

Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment.Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
4. HULK
Bruce Banner, a brilliant scientist with a cloudy past about his family is involved in an accident in his laboratory causing him to become exposed to gamma radiation and Nanomeds (A tiny life-form that is supposed to heal wounds but has killed everything with which they have made contact). Confused and curious about his survival, Banner discovers that since the accident, whenever he becomes angry he transforms into a giant green monster destroying everything in sight in an act of fury. Bruce's mysterious past and the answer to why the radiation had this effect becomes revealed to him as his Birth Father David Banner intervenes with hopes to continue experimenting on him.
5. BLACK WIDOW
Natalia Alianovna "Natasha" Roman-off, better known as Black Widow, is one of the best spies and assassins in the world. Originally an agent of the Soviet agency for foreign intelligence, the KGB; she later became a member of S.H.I.E.L.D., the international counter-intelligence agency. Having extensive mastery of the martial arts and armed with her Widow's Bite, Black Widow was one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most talented agents. When Loki declared war on Earth, Black Widow joined the Avengers and helped to defend New York City. After the Avengers defeated Loki, she continued her work with S.H.I.E.L.D.
6. SPIDER-MAN
Peter Parker was one of the first superheroes that the audience could really identify with. He struggled with social interactions, suffered from bullying, and lead an uninteresting home life anchored by his loving aunt and uncle. All of that changed, however, when he was bitten by a radioactive spider while on a scientific field trip, which altered his DNA and imbued him with incredible strength, the ability to cling to walls, and an uncanny "spider sense" which alerts him to danger. Using his own scientific ingenuity, Peter also created a pair of "web-shooters," which produce a special chemical version of a spider's webs.
7. WOLVERINE
Wolverine is a mutant with a number of enhancements to his physiology. Wolverine possesses heightened senses, making him capable of seeing things at a maximum distance greater than that of a normal human. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, and he is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if that person or object is hidden. Logan can use these enhanced senses to track anyone, with an impressive degree of success. He possesses retractable bone claws that are housed in his forearms, they are part of his skeleton system. At will, Wolverine can release these claws through his skin between the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but bleeding is quickly halted by his healing factor. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than that of a normal human bone structure. This allows Wolverine to be able to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials.
