1.Rudolf Diesel, who gave the world its diesel engine, was born on March 18, 1858. He was the French Mechanical Engineer. He is considered the inventor of the diesel engine. 


2.Rudolf patented his first design in 1886 after 8 years of hard work and in 1897 he ran his first diesel engine. Rudolf Diesel's life was as influential and inspiring as his death was as shocking as it was.


3.On 28 February 1892, Rudolf Diesel patented his 'Compression English Engine'. Initially, this engine ran from groundnut oil or vegetable oil. Later Rudolph added the cylinder and then used a different type of liquid fuel than the gasoline and cheap. Engine cylinders and fuel are powerfully picked up. Driving with compacted air and fuel, plenty of energy came out. This was a big challenge for steam engines. Rudolph stressed that 90 percent of the energy in the engine of steam is wasted, his engine greatly reduces this waste. Rudolph gave the engine's name diesel engine and the liquid fuel was called Diesel.


4.By 1912, there were 70,000 diesel engines operating around the world. Generally as generators in most factories.
