Rabindranath Tagore
Tagore was India's first Nobel laureate, who was awarded the award for his contribution to the field of literature.When Tagore received this honor in 1913, he was the first non-European to receive these awards.
Dr. Hargovind Khurana
Hargobind Khurana, a well-known Indian-origin scientist, won the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1968.Khurana's research was on the subject of the wide impact of anti-biotic eating on the body. Born in Punjab in India, Khurana studied from America's renowned MIT Institute and settled in the United States.

Born in 1888 in Madras, CV Raman was contributing to physics and the effects associated with the light were known as Raman Effect.He was given this award in the field of Physics in 1930.

Venkatraman Ramakrishnan of Indian origin was born in Madurai and currently recites in Cambridge. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for research in the field of ribosomes in the field of 2009 and in the field of functioning.

Rajendra k. Pachauri's work was in the field of environment and he has been associated with Teri (Tata Energy Research Institute) for a long time.His research paper was on climate change and he was jointly awarded Nobel for Peace in the year 2007 with a UN climate change committee.
Amartya Sen
Indian-origin economist Amartya Sen has been quite known for his book The Argumentative Indian, but his work in economics has been remarkable.He was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1998 in the field of economics.
